When I am asked what is special about this program, my first answer is that the program is very highly ranked in the United States. If you're hoping to get into one of the better schools, then apply here. The facilities and equipment are state-of-the-art and there is excellent technical support available for students to develop skills required for research.
The second answer is: collegiality! The faculty is very easy to approach and accessible: they enjoy working with students.
My research project studies the use of steroids during pregnancy to help premature infants survive. If my project goes well, I will have solved a problem that challenges most neonatologists.
