American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS)

The purpose of the AAPS is to serve its membership, the pharmaceutical sciences, the biomedical and biotechnological community, the health professions, and the interest of public health by providing open forums for the exchange and dissemination of scientific knowledge. American Society of Pharmacognosy (ASP)

Pharmacognosy involves the study of the physical, chemical, biochemical, and biological properties of drugs and drug substances of natural origin as well as the search for new drugs from natural sources. The American Society of Pharmacognosy, founded in 1959 as an outgrowth of the Plant Science Seminar, is an international organization that brings together individuals dedicated to the promotion, growth, and development of pharmacognosy and other aspects of science related to and dealing in natural products.
