Welcome to the Home Page of the Pharmaceutical Sciences Instrumentation Facility
at the University at Buffalo, State University of New York (UB).
The instrumentation in this facility serves research activities in the Pharmaceutical Sciences at UB, as well as our regional research community.
Research expertise in Pharmaceutical Sciences
at UB includes biopharmaceutical analysis, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and drug delivery. Major technical capabilities include
small-animal disease models and instrumentation, analysis of drug substances in biological fluids and tissues, and the biophysical analysis of
proteins, pharmaceutical solids, and biological membranes. In addition, we serve the university and region with our liquid chromatography/mass
spectrometry facility and provide expertise in proteomics and small-molecule analyte quantification.
The use of facilities and instrumentation by others in the research community
can be arranged on a collaborative basis, as indicated for specific instruments.
